John Fraser Chief Technical Officer
John Fraser joined buy.at as Chief Technical Officer in July 2008, having previously worked for VeriSign Global Registry Services for several years. He brings with him a wealth of experience in scalable web infrastructure and B2B interfaces.
Back during the dot com boom, John was head of software architecture with domainnames.com. He joined VeriSign by acquisition in 2001, where he led a development and operations team specialising in integrating with domain registries and registrars all over the world. He was a technical lead for the Namestore platform - one of the first EPP compliant domain registries and the proving ground for the technology now running the .com and .net registries.
John heads a team of 15 who are responsible for delivering and maintaining buy.at's leading portfolio of technologies.
